The Story So Far...

Hinge formed as an excuse for 3 old friends to be able to see each other during the UK lockdown. This is work right? Basically, we drank beer and played in a workshop before building our own recording space. 2021 saw the release of our first (self-titled) EP, which received rave reviews and captured the imagination of the skate punk community. Following this release, Ed Rome (The Big) joined on bass, which formed the Hinge you know today. After various gigs in the UK, we found ourselves boarding a plane to tour Costa Rica! That full-throttle tour proved there was an appetite for more: a new EP was written, a mini tour in Portugal was played, the new album is set for release February 2023, with tours of the UK, Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia scheduled to follow.

The Hinge ethos is a simple one: drink beer, have fun, play punk.
